Protective gowns
Gowns made of PP, PE or composite materials. Coated, uncoated, partially coated. For the laboratory, for the isolation ward, for the operating theatre, for the clean room, for pharmaceutical or food production... For protection against harmless liquids or for protection against blood, viruses and other hazards, liquid-proof or liquid-repellent. With or without antistatic treatment. Welded seams, SMS materials or knitted cuffs or breathable – we offer a wide range of gowns and aprons for diverse purposes.
Infection protection gowns
Due to the heterogeneity of microorganisms, it is not possible to predict which organisms employees will be exposed to in detail and in which risk group they belong.
Therefore, the European standard EN 14126 defines specific requirements for materials of protective clothing against infectious agents. Their main tasks are to protect the wearer's skin from possible contact with infectious agents and to prevent the spread of germs.
In many jobs, the wearer's skin is exposed to infectious agents.
In many jobs, e.g. in microbiology laboratories, in biotechnological production, the germs to which the worker may be exposed are usually known. In other areas, however, such as hospitals, emergency clean-up work, waste disposal or animal care, workers are constantly exposed to the risk of infection from known and unknown biological agents, especially including zoonotic germs.
Thanks to the high-tech material Splash+ and Zytex® from DACH Schutzbekleidung, the new generation SAFE® infection control gowns provide you with the best possible protection even under extreme operating conditions.
Operating gowns
Surgical gowns are standard equipment in hospitals. The introduction of EN 13795 sets uniform quality standards for surgical gowns and clean-air garments for use as medical devices. The main objective of this standard is to prevent the transmission of infections between patients and hospital staff during invasive surgical procedures.
The EN 13795 divides products into two performance levels: High Performance and Standard Performance. Depending on the intensity and duration of an operation, different performance requirements are placed on the products.
SAFE® surgical gowns – A revolution that redefines surgical garments!
Safety, reliable protection, careful prevention of infection transmission between patients and clinicians, and prevention of nosocomial infections are at the forefront of our product development. Thanks to continuous material research, SAFE® surgical gowns offer exceptional performance: lighter, thinner, more breathable, softer and yet extremely tear-resistant – reliably protecting against germs and liquids.
All our SAFE® surgical gowns significantly exceed the performance levels required by EN 13795. They meet the complex and increasing requirements for safety and comfort of protective clothing in operating theatres. The resistance to liquid penetration of SAFE® surgical gowns in the critical areas is over 150 cm/H2O, which complies with the limit of testable pressure. Thus, SAFE® surgical gowns are considered impervious to liquids.
