Disposable Gloves
There are disposable gloves made of nitrile, natural latex, neoprene or polyisoprene, PVC or PE. Each area of use has different requirements to protect the hands from harmful influences or to prevent contamination or transfer of germs from the hands.

What to look for when buying disposable gloves?
Do not use vinyl gloves
Vinyl gloves are cheap, but are made of PVC. To make PVC pliable, the plasticiser diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) is added. Test results show that vinyl gloves are unsuitable for food contact and are a dermal burden. The phthalate plasticisers are suspected of being carcinogenic. In addition, PVC is a stable chemical compound that does not decompose. Highly toxic dioxins are formed during incineration. The ingredients of soft PVC can get into the groundwater and thus damage the environment. DACH Schutzbekleidung therefore does not sell vinyl gloves.
Use powder-free gloves
Do not use powdered gloves! New research shows that glove powder, as a carrier of the natural latex protein, contributes to the spread of latex allergy. The allergens enter the skin more quickly through the powder. In addition, the powder particles get into the air and onto the mucous membranes when the gloves are unpacked, put on and taken off. This can also contaminate the product. That is why we only offer powder-free gloves.
Is there a universal glove?
No protective glove can protect against all hazards. Depending on the design and material, different protection goals are achieved.
