Cut Resistant Gloves

The standard for protective gloves against mechanical risks: The EN 388

This standard specifies all requirements and test methods for gloves for protection against mechanical risks. In particular, gloves are tested and evaluated for their abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance. The protective function against mechanical injuries is indicated by a pictogram and four letters (performance index). They indicate the respective performance levels.

Different materials for different uses

Gloves made of seamless aramid knitted fabric and nitrile coating offer effective cut protection and a long service life.

Gloves made of seamless knitted fabric made of HPPE (high-performance polyethylene) offer effective cut protection, optimum dexterity and an unrestricted sense of touch.
