General Information

Protecting the personal data of our website users and our customers is very important to us. This statement sets forth our commitment to protecting individuals’ data and privacy.

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information that can be used, directly or indirectly, to identify individuals (“personal data”).

What does this Privacy Policy cover?

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data that you provide to DACH Schutzbekleidung or that is derived from personal data as described below.

Data Controller

The data controller is DACH Schutzbekleidung GmbH & Co. KG, Rotackerstraße 21, 76437 Rastatt (“DACH”). The data protection officer for DACH Schutzbekleidung GmbH & Co. KG is attorney Marc Jüdt of Karlsruhe. (ra.juedt@juedt.de).

What does DACH do with my personal data?

DACH processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the relevant legal provisions and only as described in this document.

To the extent that the processing of your personal data is based on a legal basis, the section “Use of Data Based on Legal Permission” contains information about which personal data DACH processes or uses and for what purposes.

If your consent is required for the processing of your personal data, you can find more information in the section “Use of Data with Your Consent.”

Processing time

To the extent that DACH processes and uses your personal data based on a legal basis or with your consent, DACH stores your personal data

  • only for as long as required for the purposes set forth below, or
  • until you object to DACH’s use of your personal data (to the extent that DACH has a legitimate interest in using your personal data) or
  • until you withdraw your consent (if you have consented to DACH's use of your personal data).

However, if the law requires DACH to retain your personal data for a longer period, or if DACH needs your personal data to assert legal claims or defend against legal claims, DACH will retain your personal data until the end of the applicable retention period or until the claims are resolved.

Why do I have to provide personal information?

You don't have to.

In general, providing consent or personal data is voluntary.

If you do not give your consent or do not provide any personal data, this will generally not have any adverse effects on you.

However, there are instances in which DACH cannot take action without certain personal data, for example, because this personal data is required to process your orders or grant you access to certain areas of this website or a newsletter.

In such cases, DACH cannot provide you with what you have requested without the relevant personal data.

Where is my personal data processed?

DACH processes personal data exclusively on servers located in the European Union.

Rights of Data Subjects

You may at any time request information from DACH regarding which personal data DACH processes about you, as well as request the correction or deletion of such personal data.

However, DACH may only delete your personal data if there is no legal obligation to retain it or if DACH has a overriding right to retain it.

However, once you have requested the deletion of your personal data, you will no longer be able to use any DACH services that require the use of your personal data.

If DACH uses your personal data based on your consent or to fulfill a contract with you, you may request a list from DACH of the personal data you have provided to DACH.

Please send your request to recht@dach-germany.de and specify which information or processing activities your request relates to.

In addition, you may request that DACH restrict the further processing of your personal data in the following cases:

  • if you claim that the personal data DACH holds about you is incorrect (but only for as long as DACH needs to verify the accuracy of the personal data in question),
  • if there is no legal basis for DACH to process your personal data and you request that DACH no longer process your personal data,
  • if DACH no longer needs your personal data, but you assert that DACH must continue to retain this data so that you can assert or exercise legal claims or defend against claims by third parties, or
  • If you object to the processing of your personal data by DACH (based on DACH’s legitimate interest as described in Section B below), for as long as it takes to assess whether DACH has an overriding interest in processing your personal data or is subject to a legal retention obligation.
