The MediCap AstroEco REF 121G was designed for hygiene-critical work areas where comprehensive coverage of the head, hair, and neck is required. Its astronaut-style design provides extensive coverage and helps ensure compliance with strict hygiene requirements in sensitive work environments.
The hood is classified as a Class I medical device and is made of antistatic-treated polypropylene nonwoven fabric. The astronaut-style design consists of a head section and a wraparound section, ensuring that the head and neck are reliably covered. Both components are joined together with an overlock seam, ensuring a sturdy construction. The wraparound section can also be used to tie the hood, allowing for a custom fit. The non-woven fabric used is antistatic and suitable for use in controlled environments. Latex-free elastic components contribute to a comfortable fit and minimize the risk of latex allergies. The green design facilitates visual identification within various hygiene areas. When stored properly, the cap has a shelf life of up to 10 years.
