IsoCoat Chem, Type [6]-B

IsoCoat Chem, Type [6]-B

REF

Packaging

438/Uni

Carton (100 pcs)

Bag (10 pcs)

Partially coated protective gown with tie belt and elastic cuffs, EN 13034, EN 14126, EN 13688, EN 14325, PPE Cat. III and MD Class I, certified infection and chemical protection, material tested against cytostatic drugs.

Certified protection against chemicals and infectious agents in one – the DACH IsoCoat Chem series offers Type PB [6]-B protective gowns with reinforced sleeves and front, providing tested barrier performance for use wherever liquid chemicals and biological hazards converge.

The IsoCoat Chem protective gowns are made of a composite material of polypropylene non-woven fabric and polyethylene film on the front and sleeves, as well as polypropylene non-woven fabric on the back. This results in a gown with high chemical resistance yet equally high wearing comfort. Standards-compliant testing of chemical resistance achieved the highest protection class in all tests. Protection against infectious agents was tested according to EN 14126, also reaching high performance levels. Material testing against 7 different cytostatic drugs demonstrates that the gown provides reliable protection even with the most hazardous type of medication. As a single-use product, the gown contributes to the prevention of cross-contamination. The striking high-visibility yellow colour enables quick identification in daily work routines and reduces the risk of mix-ups. Elastic polyurethane cuffs pose no irritation potential for individuals with latex allergies and provide a secure seal at the wrist.

Examples of use:
• Care of patients with infectious diseases
• Preparation or handling of cytostatic drugs
• Handling of infectious samples, bacterial cultures, or contaminated liquids
• Splash protection against acids, alkalis, or organic solvents
