Description
This certified lab coat provides protection against chemicals and infectious agents and is spray-resistant. Sealed seams and an extra-wide waistband ensure a secure fit.
The IsoCoat 360 4B REF 44B01/WT is designed for particularly demanding work environments where comprehensive protection against liquid chemicals and biological hazards is required. The all-around protection covering the front and back, as well as the taped seams, provide a high level of protection even under heavy use.
The protective gown is made of PP nonwoven fabric with a microporous PE coating and is classified as both Category III PPE and a Class I medical device. Certification according to EN 14605 Type PB [4]-B confirms protection against liquid chemicals in the form of spray mists, while EN 14126 verifies protection against blood, viruses, bacteria, contaminated particles, and liquid aerosols. All seams are taped to ensure a high level of impermeability. The neck closure, elastic latex-free knitted cuffs, and a tie belt ensure a secure fit and reliable coverage, even when worn with protective gloves. In the Helmke Drum Test according to IEST-RP-CC003.4, the material achieved Category III and is recommended for cleanrooms in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1, ISO Classes 7 to 9. Its high mechanical strength is demonstrated by an abrasion resistance of over 500 cycles, a flexural tear resistance of 100,000 cycles, a puncture resistance of over 10 N, and a seam strength of over 75 N. Against sulfuric acid (30%), sodium hydroxide (10%), o-xylene, and butan-1-ol, repellency indices of over 95% and penetration indices of under 1% were achieved in each case. In terms of protection against infectious agents, resistance to the penetration of contaminated liquids containing bacteriophages of 20 kPa (EN Class 6) and resistance to mechanically transmitted infectious agents for over 75 minutes (EN Class 6) were demonstrated, among other things.
