Description
Protective coveralls that provide comprehensive protection against viruses, bacteria, and contaminated liquids for applications with heightened infection control requirements. The all-around protective design ensures reliable coverage of the front and back.
The IsoCoat REF 437 was developed for demanding work environments where reliable protection against biological hazards is required. Its all-around protective design provides a high level of barrier protection against infectious agents and supports safe work procedures in sensitive medical, healthcare, and industrial settings.
The protective gown is made of PE-coated PP nonwoven fabric and is classified as both Category III PPE and a Class I medical device. Certification to EN 14126 confirms protection against blood, viruses, bacteria, contaminated particles, and liquid aerosols. The gown provides full protection on the front and back, making it suitable for applications with increased infection control requirements. The fastening straps at the neck, the tie belt at the waist, and the latex-free elastic knit cuffs ensure a secure fit and reliable coverage, even when worn with protective gloves. In the Helmke Drum Test according to IEST-RP-CC003.4, the material achieved Category II and is recommended for cleanrooms in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1, ISO Classes 6 through 9. The high material durability is demonstrated by a flexural tear resistance of over 100,000 cycles, a tear strength of over 30 N, and a puncture resistance of over 5 N. In the area of infection control, resistance to the penetration of contaminated liquids containing bacteriophages of 20 kPa (EN Class 6) and resistance to mechanically transmitted infectious agents of over 75 minutes (EN Class 6) were demonstrated. The lab coat has not been tested for chemical resistance and is not suitable for handling o-xylene, butan-1-ol, or other organic chemicals.
