Description
Medical Type IIR mask with an integrated anti-fog strip for clear vision and high protection. The liquid-resistant design and high level of comfort make it ideal for use in demanding medical settings.
The MediComfort Antifog REF 223-1 was specifically designed for users who want to combine clear vision and high comfort with reliable medical protection. The integrated anti-fog strip reduces fogging on the lenses and helps users stay focused during their daily medical work.
The medical face mask is classified as a Class I medical device and, as a Type IIR mask, meets the requirements of the EN 14683:2019+AC:2019 standard. The anatomically shaped design, featuring a slightly adjustable nose clip, allows for individual adjustment to the shape of the face and ensures a secure fit. The inner and outer layers consist of skin-friendly, physiologically safe, and plasticizer-free polypropylene nonwoven fabric. The filter system is based on a meltblown nonwoven fabric made of polypropylene microfibers and achieves a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of 99.9%. A foam anti-fog strip in the nose area reduces the escape of moist exhaled air, thereby preventing fogging of eyeglass lenses. The mask is ultrasonically welded and free of natural latex. With a pressure difference of only 35.4 Pa/cm², it offers high breathing comfort even during prolonged wear. The splash resistance of 16 kPa meets the requirements for Type IIR liquid-resistant masks. The microbiological purity of ≤ 3.99 CFU/g is well below the required limit of ≤ 30 CFU/g. The dermatological test revealed no contraindications.
