Description
Sterile surgical drape designed to maintain a reliable sterile field during surgical procedures. The absorbent, liquid-resistant nonwoven fabric helps prevent contamination and fluid penetration.
The IsoDrapeS REF 15S01/BL is designed for surgical procedures that require a reliably sterile surgical field. This sterile surgical drape helps protect both the patient and the sterile field and helps reduce the spread of fluids and microorganisms.
The sterile surgical drape is classified as a Class I medical device and is manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 13485. The absorbent, lint-free nonwoven fabric, with a weight of 50 g/m², combines high user-friendliness with reliable barrier properties. Ethylene oxide sterilization allows for immediate use in sterile environments. The medical-grade folding facilitates aseptic removal and supports efficient workflows in the operating room. The drape prevents the transfer of fluids and bacteria from non-sterile to sterile areas, thereby helping to reduce the risk of contamination. With an IB value of 6, microbial penetration when wet meets the requirements of EN ISO 22610. Microbial purity, at less than 24 CFU per 100 cm², is well below the permissible limit of 300 CFU. With a fluid resistance of 100 cm H₂O according to EN ISO 811, the drape offers reliable protection against fluid penetration. At the same time, high mechanical strength—up to 136.6 kPa burst strength and up to 92.1 N tear strength when wet—ensures safe use during procedures. The latex-free design also supports use with latex-sensitive users and patients.
