The MediClassic Splash REF 208G combines a medical face mask with an integrated face shield, offering enhanced protection against droplets and splashes. The anti-fog face shield with side protection ensures clear vision and supports safe working practices even in challenging treatment situations.
The medical face mask is classified as a Class I medical device and meets the requirements of EN 14683:2019 as a Type IIR mask. The anatomically shaped, 3-layer construction with an easily moldable nose clip allows for individual adjustment to the shape of the face and ensures a secure fit. The inner and outer layers consist of physiologically safe, plasticizer-free polypropylene nonwoven fabric, while the filter medium is made of polypropylene microfiber. The ultrasonically welded filter system achieves a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of 99.9%. The integrated, non-reflective eye shield is designed to be fog-free and features additional side flaps that provide extended protection against liquid splashes without distorting vision. The latex-free ear loops made of polyester and elastane ensure a comfortable fit and high wearing comfort. With a pressure difference of only 33.3 Pa/cm², the mask allows for comfortable breathing even during extended wear. The splash resistance of 16 kPa meets the requirements for liquid-resistant Type IIR masks. At ≤ 5 CFU/g, the microbiological purity is well below the required limit of ≤ 30 CFU/g. All materials used are free of irritants, comply with the biological compatibility requirements of ISO 10993, and are suitable for medical applications.
