Description
The TriCap covers the entire head and, thanks to its integrated headband, leaves the eye area exposed. Three wearing options with varying degrees of facial coverage allow for flexible use.
The TriCap Plus REF 127 was specifically designed for cleanrooms where controlling particle emissions is critical. Its innovative design allows for various wearing options while ensuring an unobstructed field of vision and high comfort during extended use.
The TriCap Plus is classified as Category I PPE and is made of extra-thin, breathable polypropylene nonwoven fabric. In the Helmke Drum Test in accordance with IEST-RP-CC003.4, it achieved Category II and is recommended for cleanrooms in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1, ISO Classes 6 through 9. An innovative, fabric-covered headband keeps the eye area taut and ensures that the field of vision is not restricted by the edge of the face opening. This reduces the need to readjust the hood during extended wear. The sophisticated design allows for three different wearing options: with the face completely exposed, with the eyes and nose exposed while the mouth and beard area are covered, or with only the eyes exposed. The hood can be easily combined with respirators, offering high flexibility for various cleanroom requirements. The antistatic material reduces electrostatic discharges and sparking when removing the hood. The combination of low weight, high air permeability, and flexible adjustability supports comfortable work even over extended periods.
Examples of use
- Working in cleanrooms with strict particle control requirements
- Filling and packaging processes in the pharmaceutical industry
- Activities in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing
- Working with additional respiratory protection in controlled environments
