Description
Chemical protective suit for working with hazardous chemicals, particles, and biological hazards. Heat-sealed and taped seams provide a reliable barrier even in demanding applications.
The REF 59C protective suit has been developed for demanding work involving hazardous chemicals and biological risks. The suit combines comprehensive full-body protection with a high degree of freedom of movement and offers reliable safety even when working under pressure of up to 1.5 bar.
This Category III PPE chemical protection suit complies with protection types 3, 4, 5 and 6 in accordance with the relevant European standards. The material consists of an SMS polypropylene non-woven fabric laminated with PE film and provides reliable protection against liquid chemicals, solid particles, infectious agents and radioactive contamination from solid particles. The ergonomic cut and elasticated waist ensure a comfortable fit and a high degree of freedom of movement, even during prolonged use. Elasticated cuffs with integrated thumb loops ensure a secure fit when worn over protective gloves. The comfortable hood stays securely in place even when worn with a respirator and safety goggles, and does not slip whilst working. A double two-way zip with a self-adhesive cover flap and extended chin guard provides increased protection against liquid ingress. All seams are heat-sealed and additionally taped to prevent liquids from seeping in through the seams. Reinforced knee areas enhance safety and durability when kneeling.
