Disposable nitrile gloves with extra-long cuffs for enhanced protection when working with chemicals, cytostatic drugs, and biological hazards. The lightweight material provides excellent tactile sensitivity while offering a high level of protection.

The GentleSafe® EXTRA REF 865 was designed for users who need exceptionally lightweight yet reliable protection against chemicals, cytostatic drugs, and biological hazards. The extra-long design provides additional protection for the wrist and forearm, combining high comfort with excellent dexterity.

These powder-free and latex-free disposable gloves are made of carboxylated nitrile-butadiene rubber and are classified as both Category III PPE and a Class I medical device. The extra-long version, measuring 308 mm in length, offers additional protection against chemicals and liquids. Despite its lightweight material, the glove provides maximum dexterity (Level 5 according to EN ISO 21420) and excellent tactile sensitivity. The textured fingertips ensure a secure grip, even when handling damp or wet objects. The glove meets the requirements of EN ISO 374-1 Type B and provides protection against chemicals, viruses, bacteria, and fungi in accordance with EN ISO 374-5. It achieves protection level 6 against 40% sodium hydroxide, protection level 2 against 30% hydrogen peroxide, and protection level 3 against 37% formaldehyde. Resistance to numerous cytostatic agents was tested according to ASTM D6978-05; breakthrough times of over 240 minutes were demonstrated for active ingredients such as cisplatin, cyclophosphamide, dacarbazine, doxorubicin HCl, etoposide, fluorouracil, methotrexate, mitomycin C, paclitaxel, and vincristine. With a finger thickness of 0.10 mm, the glove combines a sensitive sense of touch with reliable protection. Additionally, it is suitable for food contact in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 and is free of natural latex, carbamates, thiurams, and thiazoles. It is available in blue, white, and black, as well as in sizes XS through XXL.
