The SplashCoat pro+ REF 422Y was designed for applications that require enhanced protection in the front area combined with high comfort. The sleeves and front panels, which have been tested for liquid and infection protection, provide reliable protection, while the breathable back panel ensures comfort even during extended wear.
The front panel and sleeves of the gown are made of Splash+ fabric, which has been tested in accordance with EN 14126 for protection against the penetration of bacteria and viruses. The back panel, made of thin polypropylene nonwoven fabric, ensures improved breathability and helps maintain a comfortable body temperature while working. The opening at the back makes it easy to put on and take off. Two drawstrings at the collar and two waist ties ensure a secure and customizable fit. Knitted polyester cuffs provide a reliable seal at the wrist and improve coverage when worn with protective gloves. In material testing, the Splash+ material achieved performance level 6 for resistance to the penetration of contaminated liquids under hydrostatic pressure, as well as performance level 6 for resistance to the penetration of infectious agents due to mechanical contact. In addition, performance levels 3 were achieved against contaminated liquid aerosols and 3 against contaminated solid particles. Furthermore, no adverse reactions were observed during dermatological compatibility testing.
