The REF 202 surgical mask provides reliable basic medical protection for daily use in hospitals, medical practices, and care facilities. The combination of high filtration efficiency, low breathing resistance, and comfortable ear loops ensures a comfortable fit even during extended periods of wear.
The medical face mask is classified as a Class I medical device and meets the requirements of EN 14683:2019+AC:2019 as a Type II mask. The anatomically shaped design with an easily moldable nose clip allows for individual adjustment to the shape of the face and ensures a secure fit. The inner and outer layers are made of skin-friendly, hypoallergenic, and phthalate-free polypropylene nonwoven fabric. The polypropylene microfiber filter medium achieves a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of 99.8% and provides a reliable barrier against bacteria. The mask is equipped with soft, latex-free ear loops made of polyester and polyurethane, ensuring comfortable wear. With a pressure difference of only 25 Pa/cm², it offers very low breathing resistance and supports comfortable breathing even during extended wear. The microbiological purity of ≤ 5.94 CFU/g is well below the permissible limit of ≤ 30 CFU/g. Dermatological testing revealed no contraindications. All materials used are free of irritants, meet the requirements for biocompatibility according to ISO 10993, and are suitable for medical applications.
