Description
FFP2 respirator mask with high filtration efficiency for protection against aerosols and airborne particles. The wide head straps ensure comfortable wear during everyday work. Features activated carbon to combat odours.
The ‘ecoComfort’ series of respirators offers reliable respiratory protection in a particularly compact and user-friendly design. The vertically foldable design allows for space-saving storage, whilst the wide head straps and adjustable nose clip ensure a comfortable fit during everyday work. A key feature is the additional activated carbon layer, which filters unpleasant odours out of the air.
The particle-filtering half mask is classified as Category III PPE and meets the requirements of protection class FFP2 NR in accordance with EN 149:2001+A1:2009. The mask is made of polypropylene non-woven fabric on both the outside and inside and uses a filter medium made of polypropylene microfibres. A layer of activated carbon filters out unpleasant organic odours, such as those encountered in waste management or livestock farming. The vertical pleating allows for easy carrying and space-saving storage. Wide headbands made of polyester and elastane distribute pressure evenly across the head without straining the ears, ensuring comfortable wear. The plastic-coated nose clip can be individually adjusted to the shape of the face and, together with the internal nose pad, improves the seal around the nose. All materials used are free from natural latex. The mask protects against airborne pathogens, aerosols and non-volatile liquid particles up to 10 times the respective exposure limit.
Examples of use:
- • Protection against airborne pathogens in the healthcare sector
- • Working in environments with aerosol exposure
- • Work in care and support facilities
- • Livestock farming and veterinary science
- • General protective measures in industry and the skilled trades
- • Renovation work
