Description
The partially coated protective gown features a liquid-repellent front and coated sleeves for enhanced protection. The breathable back material ensures high comfort even during prolonged wear, while elastic cuffs securely fasten the sleeves at the wrists and prevent them from riding up.
The SplashCoat+ REF 421 was developed for applications that require enhanced protection in the front area combined with comfortable wearability. The tested protective zones on the front and sleeves provide a reliable barrier against biological hazards, while the breathable back panel ensures comfort during everyday work.
The front panel and sleeves of the gown are made of Splash+ fabric, which has been tested for resistance to bacterial and viral penetration in accordance with EN 14126. The back panel, made of thin polypropylene nonwoven fabric, ensures high breathability and helps maintain a comfortable body temperature even during extended wear. The opening at the back makes it easy to put on and take off. Two tie straps at the collar and two tie belts ensure a secure and individually adjustable fit. The sleeves are equipped with an overlock-seamed elastic band made of synthetic elastomer, which is free of natural latex and ensures a reliable seal at the wrist. The product complies with the HACCP concept and supports adherence to high hygiene standards. In material testing, the Splash+ material achieved performance level 6 for resistance to the penetration of contaminated liquids under hydrostatic pressure, as well as performance level 6 for resistance to the penetration of infectious agents due to mechanical contact. In addition, performance levels 3 were achieved against contaminated liquid aerosols and 3 against contaminated solid particles. Furthermore, no adverse reactions were observed during dermatological compatibility testing.
