The EcoCoat S was developed for use in the operating room and combines sterility, high comfort, and reliable protection in sensitive medical environments. The liquid-repellent material construction and the tested barrier effect against liquids and bacteria support safe workflows during surgical procedures.
The sterile standard surgical gown is classified as a Class I medical device and is manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 13485:2016. The material consists of a liquid-repellent PP nonwoven fabric with a microfiber core layer and provides protection against the penetration of liquids and bacteria. The low-lint, abrasion-resistant gown is ultrasonically welded and made of SMS material. The medical-grade folding design allows for user-friendly removal and facilitates sterile donning. The opening at the back, Velcro closure at the collar, two tie belts, and knitted cuffs ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The gown is free of natural latex and intended for single use. Sterilization is performed using ethylene oxide. The gown meets the requirements for surgical gowns in the standard performance class according to the EN 13795 standard.
