Description
The three-piece hood is anatomically shaped to fit the head and covers the entire head, including an additional collar section. It has undergone antistatic treatment and has been tested for particle emission in accordance with IEST-RP-CC003.5. An elasticated trim around the face further enhances comfort.
The REF 181W cleanroom hood has been designed for controlled environments where reliable coverage of the head, neck and shoulders is required to minimise the risk of contamination. Its well-thought-out design ensures a secure fit whilst allowing a high degree of freedom of movement, and supports efficient workflows in the cleanroom.
The cleanroom hood is classified as Category I PPE and is made from antistatic-treated polypropylene non-woven fabric. In the Helmke Drum Test in accordance with IEST-RP-CC003.4, it achieved Category II and is recommended for cleanrooms in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1, ISO Classes 6 to 9. The design, comprising a head section, two side panels and an integrated shoulder cover, ensures comprehensive coverage of the head and upper torso. Elasticated cuffs around the face and at the junction between the head section and the shoulder cover ensure a secure fit without restricting freedom of movement. This means the hood remains reliably in position even during physical activity. The shoulder cover reduces exposed areas between the hood and clothing and provides additional protection for the upper torso. The antistatic-treated material is suitable for use in controlled environments and reduces electrostatic build-up. Its suitability for use under high mechanical stress has been confirmed in particle emission testing.
