The TriCap Plus is classified as Category I PPE and is made of extra-thin, breathable polypropylene nonwoven fabric. In the Helmke Drum Test in accordance with IEST-RP-CC003.4, it achieved Category II and is recommended for cleanrooms in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1, ISO Classes 6 through 9. An innovative, fabric-covered headband keeps the eye area taut and ensures that the field of vision is not restricted by the edge of the face opening. This reduces the need to readjust the hood during extended wear. The sophisticated design allows for three different wearing options: with the face completely exposed, with the eyes and nose exposed while the mouth and beard area are covered, or with only the eyes exposed. The high-tech filter material achieves maximum filtration efficiency with a breathing resistance well below the permissible limits—for easy, fatigue-free breathing even during prolonged wear. The three-part design follows the natural movements of the jaw and ensures a consistently tight seal without the need for readjustment; the wide ear loops do not dig in, even after hours of wear. The respirator is classified as Category III PPE and meets the requirements of protection class FFP2 NR in accordance with EN 149:2001+A1:2009. The mask is made of polypropylene non-woven fabric on both the outside and inside and uses a filter medium made of polypropylene microfibres.
