The MediClassic Splash REF 209G combines a medical face mask with an integrated face shield, offering enhanced protection against droplets and splashes. The anti-fog face shield with side protection ensures clear vision and provides increased protection in demanding medical settings.

The medical face mask is classified as a Class I medical device and meets the requirements of EN 14683:2019 as a Type IIR mask. The anatomically shaped, 3-layer construction with an easily moldable nose clip allows for individual adjustment to the shape of the face and ensures a secure fit. The inner and outer layers consist of physiologically safe, plasticizer-free polypropylene nonwoven fabric, while the filter medium is made of polypropylene microfiber. The filter system, ultrasonically welded, achieves a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of 99.9%. The integrated, non-reflective eye shield is designed to be fog-free and features additional side flaps that protect against liquid splashes without distorting vision. With a pressure difference of only 33.3 Pa/cm², the mask offers high breathing comfort even during prolonged wear. The splash resistance of 16 kPa meets the requirements for liquid-resistant Type IIR masks. At ≤ 5 CFU/g, the microbiological purity is well below the permissible limit of ≤ 30 CFU/g. All materials used are free of irritants, odorless, and comply with the requirements for biocompatibility according to ISO 10993.
