[243F-1] Respirator High-Risk-Mask, FFP3

Respirator High-Risk-Mask, FFP3

REF 243F-1
FFP3 respirator mask with excellent filtration performance for protection against aerosols and airborne particles. Additional testing in accordance with EN 14638 for medical face masks. Foldable design with a high breathing volume.

The High-Risk Mask combines the high level of protection offered by an FFP3 respirator mask in accordance with EN 149 with the additional protection provided by a liquid-resistant Type IIR medical face mask in accordance with EN 14683. It offers the best possible protection against airborne pathogens and bioaerosols.

A mask for all situations, minimising misuse in emergencies and reducing the need to stockpile. The High-Risk Mask is classified as Category III PPE and meets the requirements of protection class FFP3 NR in accordance with EN 149:2001+A1:2009. It also meets the requirements for bacterial filtration efficiency, splash resistance and microbial cleanliness in accordance with EN 14683. The mask consists of polypropylene non-woven fabric on the outside and inside and uses a filter medium made of polypropylene microfibres. Equipped with a high-performance filter, the High-Risk Mask ensures high filtration performance with low breathing resistance, thereby offering maximum safety and comfort. The two-part, foldable design ensures easy handling and also allows for space-saving storage and convenient portability. The nose clip is internal, does not press against the nose thanks to a padded insert, and can be easily adjusted to the individual shape of the nose. The large breathing volume and the continuous headband make the mask highly comfortable, even when worn for long periods. The mask protects against airborne pathogens, aerosols and non-volatile liquid particles up to 30 times the respective exposure limit.

Examples of use:
  • • Ambulance and patient transport
  • • Hospitals and A&E departments
  • • Handling of cytostatic drugs
