DACH: From your perspective, what makes your job as a marketing manager so interesting?
Thomas: Marketing is subject to continuous change and requires a constant learning process. What is considered a marketing standard today will have no relevance in 2 to 3 years. Just think about AI. It's now an integral part of our creative process and also helps us in implementing various measures. No day is like the other; there's practically no such thing as a routine day in marketing like others experience in their jobs. That's what makes my work so interesting.
DACH: If you had to describe your work, how would you phrase it?
Thomas: First and foremost: I probably have one of the most beautiful jobs a creative person can have. Always exciting. Always dynamic and motivated people around. Always new tasks in a constantly changing work environment.
DACH: What personal goal have you set for yourself?
Thomas: Marketing is a classic team sport. You can only win as a team. That's something I try to live by every day. Moreover, I am firmly convinced that there is only one optimal marketing strategy for every product, every service, and every company. Finding this with my truly motivated team within the financial and strategic possibilities drives me every day.
