DACH Schutzbekleidung, known as the agile innovation company in the field of personal protective equipment (PPE), invited its international sales partners to the DACH PARTNER DAYS in Rastatt on the 10th and 11th of January 2020. When the leading international DACH PARTNERS meet for an event, it is on the one hand about how we can make the world of work safer and how we can use our products to protect people’s health, and on the other hand, about the development potential in a globally growing market.
Event day 1, morning: Specialist expert lectures
After the international guests had been welcomed, several lecture rounds were on the agenda for the morning. The product manager Césine-Alice Ing started with the topic “Visions & Goals”. This lecture focused in particular on the ability to adapt our products to customer requirements and to position innovative developments in the market for end customers. The new DACH-patented NeolutionPlus (www.neolution-plus.de) respiratory protection mask was presented as an example of this high level of innovation.
In the next lecture by Arthur Wiens, the sales professional responsible for the international market, the focus was on the exclusive markets of our partners, growth opportunities, competition and the multitude of advantages offered by our partner business model, the DACH Academy, DACH as an innovator with new products and the support of targeted campaigns for our international partners through our marketing team.
DACH partners have a unique selling point in their markets. They are exclusive dealers in their countries. In order to clearly highlight this, in the next lecture by Mischa Henke, Head of Marketing and Jens Lingenau, Art Director, all partners were personally presented as “Brand ambassadors” of DACH. Then the focus was on the marketing planning for 2020 and the strong focus on international marketing opportunities.
Event day 1, afternoon: History and stories
In the afternoon, Ming Gutsche, CEO of DACH, gave an insight into the exciting history of DACH and in particular, her personal almost 25-year history as the founder and owner of the company. Starting with the Cultural Revolution in China and the many disadvantages for academics in their families, through studying in the simplest of circumstances, to a prosperous company with an extraordinary history of growth. It is an example of entrepreneurship that is characterised by hard work, fairness and foresight.
The subject of history then continued. As a partner from the very beginning, Fausto Coronado from Madrid, CEO Intersurgical Spain spoke about the extraordinary partnership between his company and DACH. This story is shaped by a trusting cooperation that has been bearing fruit since 2007, and is still a model of success between the two companies today.
Event day 2, morning: Breakout sessions and networking
The second day was all about communication. In addition to networking and one-on-one discussions, product training was deepened in five groups though breakout sessions. Starting with a general overview of our products by Césine Ing, our experts held a more detailed product training in four additional groups.
Each of our partners went through all stations of the training. Matthias Werhahn presented the respirators and also our latest development NeolutionPlus (www.neolution-plus.de). Tanja Beyer, an expert on the medical market, explained the surgical masks to the specialist audience.
Since we offer PPE from head to toe, our partners naturally learned everything they need to know about infection protection gowns and cleanroom clothing from our specially trained expert Tabea Steimer. The last breakout session was chaired by Arthur Wiens and dealt with the product group of protective suits.
The conclusion of the breakout sessions saw a specialist discussion on the one hand about the good quality of DACH products and on the other hand, the special requirements in the respective target market. The feedback was consistently positive and we see ourselves together for a successful future.
Event day 2, afternoon: The sense of togetherness and DACH PARTNER AWARD
A marriage often begins with a ring. Our partnership was strengthened with a partner tree with the sonorous name “Sieben Söhne des Himmels” (Seven Sons of Heaven). In addition to the symbolic planting of the tree, each of our brand ambassadors was able to hang up a written sign with their visions and wishes. The feeling of togetherness was strengthened on this day by a special moment.
At the end of the DACH PARTNER DAYS 2020, after many interesting lectures, discussions and networking, the evening started with the DACH PARTNER AWARD with the winners in the categories “Partner Of The Year”, Intersurgical Spain and “Newcomer Of The Year” “, CRS Clean Room Solutions Austria. The fact that DACH Schutzbekleidung is an important employer and innovative company in Rastatt was confirmed in his presentation by Torsten von Appen, Economic Developer of the city of Rastatt (www.rastatt.de).
As the crowning moment, all partners and employees of DACH Schutzbekleidung could enjoy the perfectly prepared dinner of the culinary delights (www.gaulfreunde-pfalz.de) from the Palatinate, which accompanied our event over the two days with gastronomic perfection and many refined dishes.
